WASHINGTON
REDSKINS FOOTBALL

   For
the fourth consecutive year WAUG
750 AM will be broadcasting Washington Redskins football. WAUG 750 AM will air thirteen of the sixteen
regular season games starting September 19th 2010 when the Redskins face the Houston
Texans. Each game will begin with a three hour Pre-game
show hosted by Kevin Sheehan, providing
exclusive interviews with various coaches, player profiles, reports, injuries
and scores. Following the pre- game show
the in-game play by play will begin with the voice of the Redskins Larry Michaels, hall of fame analysis Sonny Jorgensen
and Sam Huff. In addition this year Former Redskin great RB Rick
"DOC" Walker will provide sideline coverage. Immediately following the game stay tuned for the post game show
hosted by Al Galdi who will provide
three hours of analysis and exclusive locker room interviews with players,
coaches and press conferences. This
gives all Redskins fans in the triangle area a great chance to stay updated on Sundays before, during and after they are in
action. The football season is here, ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL!!

This
is an example of a recent press release I helped post. This is WAUG 750 AM
radio on the campus of Saint Augustine's College. This press release was sent
out to a fairly small audience but at the same time it could be a major one.
The people that are trying to be reaches is Washington Redskins fans all over
but key to the ones in the triangle area. Redskins are not the primary local
team for the triangle area so most times their games will not come on TV
locally. This is a way to listen to the game if on the road or at home and want
play by coverage. Why the Washington Redskins? Most people do not know that the
Carolina panthers were an expansion team in the year of 1995, meaning the
organization was new in that year. Before that the primary team for people in
the North Carolina State was the Washington Redskins so there are still many
redskins’ fans in the state in this is a way for them to be updated.  Examples
of social media that they have used for public exposure is radio and also face
book. You can find this information on the Saint Augustine’s profile on face
book.
